In Our Time: A Year of Architecture in a Day
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York
19 January 2019
Eyal Weizman’s keynote lecture begins at 56:20
The Met presents an international roster of today’s most exciting and inspiring architects, artists, photographers, writers, and filmmakers, who will share the best spatial projects of 2018 and beyond.
For this year’s programme, an international roster of invited speakers discuss vital new projects completed in the past twelve months that touch on the most pressing issues of our time. In one day The Met will see a global spectrum of innovative, elegant, and socially conscious architecture, contemporary art, photography, and cutting-edge research. We will venture into the realm of forensic architecture, where strategic visualisation practices are being
applied to politics, complex court cases, and conflict zones.
Eyal Weizman, Director of Forensic Architecture, will be delivering the evening’s keynote lecture.
Free with Museum admission; advance registration is recommended. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and to register, please visit The Met’s website.
This event will be live streamed on The Met’s website and on its Facebook page.
